Norwegian scientist Prof. Rune Aaslid, the inventor of TCD (Transcranial Doppler) had a special trip to China on August 16th to 21st, 2006, during which he made a friendly visit to Shenzhen Delicate Electronic Co., LTD. The two sides signed cooperation agreement of strategy and technology. Henceforth Delicate will have the charge of producing and selling moving TCD product, the newest research product designed by Prof. Aaslid.
TCD technique founded by Prof. Aaslid in 1982, which directly records Doppler signal of encephalic vein through special window, applying low frequency pulse Doppler technology, set up a new field served for study of blood stream cycle in brain and diagnosing the disease of brain vein. Due to the simple instrument, convenient operation, excellent repetition and wide reflection, it has been rapidly developed worldwide, and becomes important measure to diagnose the disease of brain vein.
With Prof. Aaslid¡¯ s guidance continuously, Shenzhen Delicate Electronic Co., LTD., as an international well-known TCD manufacturer including research and development, becomes the globally exclusive strategic partner regarding the newest TCD technology. Both sides have cooperated deeply in the study of TCD technology, solving problems of clinic, and prevalence of TCD in the global market.
It¡¯s the first time for Prof. Aaslid to make a special visit to Delicate, before which he attended the 6th national conference on diagnosis of brain in Beijing (held on 18th to 20th ,Nov, 2005). During the visit, he made an agreement with Delicate about the applications of Delicate¡¯s new research products to markets, regardless of his explaining the trends of TCD technique & demonstrating new research. Therefore Delicate becomes the globally exclusive partner regarding the newest TCD technique whilst the cooperative relationshipship was founded between both sides.
